Community Eats stickers

BBCP have been supporting our people in need with kai for many years. Every Monday, from Beach Haven Community House we are providing at least 70+ whānau with food parcels per fortnight. Whānau are referred through to us from local kura, health providers and social services.

The community house is also a distribution point for local kura to collect Good Works Trust lunch pack for some of our local tamariki.

This food support programme is delivered with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers, and made possible through donations from Kiwi Harvest, The Good Works Trust, New World Birkenhead, Bakers Delight and C3 Church. Our generous community also donate kai to the Pātaka Kai (community pantry) set up in front of both our community houses.

Kai Tahi Community Meal

BBCP is proud to support Life Community Kitchens and Taka Peters in hosting this community meal every Wednesday at 5.30pm in the Birkdale Hall.

Over 80 families are welcomed into the hall for a free two course meal each week. This is an amazing opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy quality kai.
