BBCP Staff

Our people are the backbone of the BBCP. We are fortunate to have a committed and experienced team of energetic staff who are eager to serve this local community. Meet the team:

Rachel Orr

Kaiwhakahaere / Manager

In February 2025,  Birkdale Beach Haven Community Project welcomed our new manager Rachel. She has been working in emergency management and community development for Auckland Council, and had most recently been doing contract projects for Kaipātiki Community Facilities Trust, before coming to the BBCP. With her passion for people and boating she is the perfect person to captain the ship.
